Raise3D DF2 – Resin DLP 3D Printer
Beyond Prototyping: Traceable Workflow from Start to Finish
The Raise3D DF2 Solution is a complete Digital Light Printing (DLP) 3D printer that excels in rapid printing, smooth surface quality, refined details and remarkable reliability. DF2 resin 3D printer has been optimized for engineering prototyping, manufacturing aids and low-volume production with a diverse selection of high-performance engineering resins. RFID technology ensures a traceable workflow throughout the entire print, wash, and cure process, reducing labor time and saving costs.
At the heart of DF2 DLP 3D printer’s traceable workflow is RFID technology, used together with ideaMaker to confirm that the correct settings are being used for each batch of prints. Once the resin type is verified, the DF2 Printer, DF Wash and DF Cure settings are automated using built-in settings profiles. This not only saves operational time and costs by reducing the chance of human error, but also ensures a consistent workflow and reproducible print results from batch to batch.
As a DLP solution, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, combined with advanced features such as Contour Compensation and Anti-Aliasing, the DF2 resin printer produces significantly finer details and smoother surfaces compared to other 3D printing technologies. This results in greater opportunities for very small parts with a high level of definition. Additionally, advanced optical design and system calibration ensure smoothness and accuracy at every step.
DF2 resin 3D printers are engineered to yield a high print-success rate through both mechanical design and software support:
Raise3D continues to make innovations in material science, having developed a wide variety of DLP Resins for industrial applications optimized for the Raise3D DF2 resin printers. Raise3D is also proud to work alongside strategic partners like Henkel and Forward AM to validate co-branded resins. Raise3D’s ORP (Open Resin Program) empowers users to explore new frontiers in resin 3D printing.
RFID automatically stores and reads the relevant parameters of an entire workflow for printing, washing and curing, reducing the need for tedious manual operations.
Industrial-grade optical components include Texas Instruments’ first Industrial-Grade DMD Chip, High-Transparency nFEP Film, and Optical Glass made by Schott Germany.
They are used throughout the entire optical path projection system to reduce loss, eliminate dispersion, this ensuring the reproduction of sharp layers.
ideaMaker has added new features designed for use with the Raise3D DF2 printer to reduce learning curves, expand design possibilities, and improve the success rate of DLP printing.
These features include:
A high-performance 10.25-inch touch screen lets you make instantaneous changes to your files without needing to return to your slicing software.
Magic Layout allows for the easy adjustment of the print layout and duplicate prints.
Automatic Pre-Print Inspection verifies all working conditions, including resin type, build platform installation, feeding station installation, resin margin, and more.
Air-Peel technology used between the resin vat bottom and the highly clear glass reduces the peeling force from 50 kilograms to 10 kilograms, effectively helping to peel each layer and ensuring successful print results.
The Z-axis features a maximum load capacity of 200kg, with high movement accuracy and no staggered layers. This ensures stability when printing large parts and during extended use.
Auto Resin Refill, Ultrasonic Liquid Level Monitoring, and Assisted Resin Tank Cleanup to minimize contact with uncured resin.
The DF Wash flushing system streamlines the solvent removal process with automated drainage and an easy-to-operate automatic pump.
